Swissnex in Boston and New York

It’s the beginning of a new era for Swissnex – one in which a new, more interconnected way of working across our network magnifies our impact in Switzerland and abroad. Project Quantum, launched out of Boston in 2023, demonstrates this potential. The initiative grew out of our work connecting the Swiss and US quantum ecosystems, which resulted in a major American company choosing to locate its European innovation center in Basel. The vision of Project Quantum is to take advantage of our network’s global scope to support outreach to other key countries for Switzerland. In 2023, we released a map of the Swiss quantum ecosystem and supported events from London to Seoul to Tokyo. In October, we partnered with eight Swiss institutions to organize the Swissnex Quantum Summit, which brought together experts from 10 countries in Lausanne, in conjunction with two other quantum conferences in Switzerland. But quantum is just the start. In 2024, Swissnex is launching another global initiative on planetary stewardship, marking yet another stride towards a more unified modus operandi.
