Putting big ideas into practice—again.

In 2024, we witnessed a landmark moment with the signing of Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) after 16 years of negotiations—an agreement set to accelerate not only trade but also research and innovation between Switzerland and India. The momentous first visit of State Secretary Hirayama to India further deepened our ties, setting the stage for a more strategic and systemic partnership in science and technology.

The Indo-Swiss Innovation Platform continued to grow, evolving from a concept into a dynamic network with impactful programs and new members. The Trialogue Days on Planetary Health built on the momentum of the 2023 Indo-Swiss AMR Innovation Dialogue, expanding critical discussions on planetary health challenges.

We also remained steadfast in supporting Swiss startups on their India journey while working closely with our colleagues in San Francisco to shape a new era of collaboration with Innosuisse.
