Innovation in the energy transition in urban contexts

The Embassy of Switzerland to Spain and Andorra together with their respective partners organized the fifth edition of the Spanish-Swiss Innovation Days in November. It was set up to encourage collaboration between the public and private sectors in the two countries in the fields of innovation, technology and energy-efficiency solutions. The event was held in Madrid and Malaga.

Each year, seminars on analysis, knowledge exchange and dissemination are organized on a priority theme in which both Spain and Switzerland are leaders in scientific innovation. Topics included:

• Data Science and Artificial Intelligency
• Environment and Architecture
• Net-zero energy
• Solar radiation
• Sustainable energy solutions
• Biomethan
• Golden Hydrogen

The event was closed by the Ambassador of Switzerland for Spain and Andorra, Hanspeter Mock.
